Unlocking the Power of Self-Monitoring

Self & Match is a behavioral self-monitoring system designed to help students take ownership of their actions while allowing users to track and support positive behaviors. It combines student self-assessment with user evaluation, and promotes accountability, reflection, and consistency in classroom behavior.
Helps students build self-regulation and reflective thinking. Supports classroom management by promoting positive behaviors. Works in both device-enabled and paper-based classrooms.
The Self & Match System is a user-friendly system designed to promote behavioral success by teaching self-monitoring. By teaching practical ways to engage in positive actions, our system helps individuals – whether they are students or clients – achieve behavioral, social, and academic success.
Our evidence-based system of self-monitoring with an embedded accountability partner is used by educators, therapists, and parents in a variety of settings to enhance skills, foster positive change, boost independence, and uplift lives.

The Self & Match Manual describes how the Self & Match System works and serves as a compass for navigating the collaborative setup process. The comprehensive guides and practical tips included in the manual are based on the theory behind self-monitoring.

The Self & Match System forms are at the core of our system. The forms are constructed to serve as a dynamic tool that can change as behavior evolves and improves over time. There are numerous sample forms available in print and digital versions.

We offer a menu of virtual and in-person workshops as an extension to the Self & Match Manual to enable developers to optimize the results of the Self & Match System. Attendees participate in interactive sessions and receive hands-on instruction.
Students self-rate behavior; users review and match. Build accountability and insight through side-by-side comparisons.

Jamie and Katie continue to spread the word about the Self & Match System through presentations at conventions and school districts throughout the United States and other countries. Additionally, they have been guest lecturers at a variety of other organizations including universities, nonpublic schools, nonpublic agencies, and parent groups.
